Happy Mother’s Day | Family Pics

A surprise session for Mother’s day!  Although, I’m not so sure that this mom didn’t get a little suspicious of her three teenagers leaving the house on a Saturday morning all primped and dressed in white.  But surprised or not, this a was a most wonderful Mothers day gesture, and I’m sure she was just thrilled with her gorgeous and thoughtful children.

Anna’s 3! ~ Family Pics

If you have followed my blog at all, you undoubtedly recognize this little peanut.  Well, she’s 3 now, you know…….. and that’s kind of a big deal!  So the kids and I joined Anna and her mom at Longview Park to snap some pics of the birthday girl and to help celebrate the big day.   After chasing her around for awhile attempting to capture her in all of her 3 year old glory, we sat down to take a break and enjoy a little picnic we threw together.  Oh, and if you have not picnic’d lately, I highly recommend it.  Dining alfresco on a warm spring day with good friends, is a complete delight!  Happy Birthday Anna!

The D Family | Family Pics

This crew was in Missouri for a brief visit over Easter.  While everyone was all dressed up for the special occasion we snuck in a mini family session.   I love these guys and wish it was possible to see them more often.

My favorite flower | Personally Speaking

I know, I know, this is technically not a flower.  In fact I am well aware that it is in fact a weed.  I’m sure it is the nostalgia of the dandelion that makes it so appealing to me, but I also think that even if I was laying eyes on one for the first time, I would be in awe of it’s fluffy fragile beauty.  I recently was in possesion of a Macro lens and was highly entertained by finding things to get up and personal with when I came accross this perfect specimen.  You know they don’t stay like this forever, one good gust of wind, a lawn mower, or more preferably a wish maker and these little seedlings go soaring.  Here’s wishing you a happy April!

Meg | Senior Pics

Lovely Meg, she really could not be sweeter.  My niece invited her along to Florida for spring break and so we all headed out together for some fun times doing early senior pictures.  The weather was amazing and the girls were stunning and I loved every minute hanging with these girls.
